The NeuroMuscular Taping is a technique based on the natural healing
processes of the body. The muscles are not only related to the body
movements, but also to the control of venous and lymphatic fluids circulation,
body temperature etc., therefore, a muscular malfunction provokes different
types of symptoms.
The NeuroMuscular Taping, based on the natural healing ability of the body, is
a mechanical and sensorial corrective technique which promotes a better
blood and lymph circulation in the area to treat. It is ideal in the treatment of
muscles, nerves and organs in post-traumatic situations, in physiotherapy or
simply to improve sports performance. The use of "Taping" provides to the doctor or physiotherapist an innovative,
non-pharmacological approach, going to the cause of each pathology.
Muscles are treated with an elastic tape that allows full muscular and articular
movement and activates the body defenses by increasing healing capability.
Traumatology: to support muscles, ligaments, articulations and bones after
trauma, during sports activities.
This technique aims to achieve a global effect of normality in a muscle-tendon
and articular level, and a physical activity sustained and alleviated from the
pain.
In the rehabilitative phase however, the NeuroMuscular Taping is combined
with other techniques (stretching, draining, support) aimed at removing
congestion of body fluids circulation:
- To improve blood circulation and lymphatic drainage
- To reduce heat excess and chemical substances present in the tissues
- To reduce inflammation
- It facilitates physiological recovery from sprains and strains
- To prevent the appearance of muscle cramps and spasms.
